Email Marketing in a GDPR World

September 23, 2019

#EcomChat on Monday 23rd September will dive into the murky world of email marketing post GDPR, where compliance requirements are now relatively clear yet there are still divergent approaches and inconsistent application of opt-in.

Email marketing still typically has one of the best conversion rates compared to other marketing channels but it’s now more challenging to grow an opt-in database, or to maintain an existing database where permissions need to be regained.

Today we’re going to look at how marketers can make the most of their email opportunity.

  1. How do you grow your email database in a compliant way?
  2. How can you use ‘legitimate interest’ to benefit ecommerce?
  3. Is it sensible to hide ‘value add’ content behind enforced opt-in?

Join us at 1pm UK time on Monday 23rd September and do share this post either on Twitter or via email with anyone you think would be interested.

Thanks, Dan & James.
