The Future of Search
#EcomChat on Monday 11th January will discuss “The future of search”.
As usual, the last 12 months witnessed a lot of change in organic and paid search, both significant (e.g. the local 3 pack update) and relatively minor tweaks (e.g. Google announcing removal of search follower count from ad extensions). Add to that fluctuations in search market share, such as Google’s desktop dominance reducing according to some industry research, and the continued user shift to mobile browsing, and you’ve got a challenge for search marketers to decide how their search strategy needs to evolve.
As ever: there will be 3 conversation starter questions & anyone is welcome to join in using the #EcomChat hashtag on Twitter.
Here are the 3 questions.
- How has search changed in the last 12 months?
- What is the impact for search marketers?
- How is search likely to evolve in 2016 and what should we be doing to prepare?
Join us at 1pm UK time on Monday and do share this post either on Twitter or via email with anyone you think would be interested.
Thanks, Dan & James.
