Learning from Amazon

They are the world’s most recognised online retailer, they also run the world’s largest cloud platform, relied upon by many retailers & ecommerce tools. As Amazon buys another big retailer (Whole Foods), we ask the question ‘what can we learn from Amazon?’

As ever: there will be 3 conversation starter questions and anyone is welcome to join in using the #EcomChat hashtag on Twitter.

1. Is Amazon still an Ecommerce company?
2. What do Amazon do that other retailers can learn from? Retail-wise, culture-wise, strategy-wise?
3. What can smaller retailers do to avoid being made redundant by much larger competitors like Amazon?
