Key site features for Ecommerce
No website is ever the finished article; ecommerce is a continuous process of improvement and optimisation. However, customer expectations are set by the UX of the most frequently used websites e.g. mass market fashion is shaped by the likes of ASOS and Boohoo, designer fashion by Farfetch, home & garden by Argos and John Lewis.
What features does an ecommerce website have to provide to be relevant in 2018? Is there a universal set of capabilities, or does it vary by brand, audience and product range?
Today we’re going to discuss which features you need to prioritise for your ecommerce site.
Here are the 3 questions:
- Is there an MVP for ecommmerce site features?
- How do you identify and prioritise new features?
- What can we learn from the market leading ecommerce sites?
