Wishlists, Saved Items and Recently Viewed
#EcomChat on Monday 18th May will discuss an often untapped product merchandising opportunity: Wishlists, saved items and recently viewed.
All three are established components of an ecommerce store, most sites use one or more, and the functionality is broadly understood by ecommerce teams and shopper alike. However, few sites do anything with these ‘lists’, for example using the data to inform merchandising campaigns.
So for today’s chat we’re going to explore whether or not these site features provide value to online shoppers and/or ecommerce teams. There are 3 starter questions as always:
- Do you need Wishlists, saved items and recently viewed, or is that overkill?
- How do you make these product lists useful and meaningful to shoppers?
- How can you use the data to drive merchandising and marketing campaigns?
We’re sure we’ll end up covering much more!
Thanks, Dan & James.
