Ecommerce Checkout & Payment

#EcomChat on Monday 10th August will dive into the murky waters of ecommerce payments and checkout optimisation.

Mobile dominates ecommerce and mobile payments have exploded, and will continue to do so since the advent of PDS2 and the opening up of the payments landscape to tech companies.

So for today’s chat we’re going to explore what good looks like for ecommerce payments, as well as key considerations for delivering an effective checkout experience. We’ll have three starter questions as always:

1. What is important for ecommerce sites & apps to offer in terms of payments in 2020? What are the pros/cons of various options?
2. Aside from payments, what else is important for ecommerce sites and apps to include within the checkout?
3. What are the pitfalls ecommerce sites & apps can fall into related to payments & checkouts?
