Time Capsule: Content for Ecommerce
On October 15th, 2012 the first ever #ecomchat was run by James and Dan on the topic of ‘Content for Ecommerce’. In homage to this (protentially) life changing event, we’re going to re-run this chat with a 2019 twist.
Today’s chat will focus on where content & commerce collide, looking at how and why content should be integrated into commerce journeys.
As ever, there will be 3 conversation starter questions:
- For what type of user need/intent should content be used for and how?
- When does on-site content fit a user need better than product merchandising?
- How can content be used to increase conversion by complimenting product merchandising?
Join us at 1pm UK time on Monday 25th November and do share this post either on Twitter or via email with anyone you think would be interested.
Thanks, Dan & James.
p.s. If you’re wondering “what’s this about?” there is a page explaining all just here.
Thanks to the class of 2012
Below is a list of all the digital pioneers who helped us launch #EcomChat back in 2012. It’s great to see that many are still regulars and supporters. We must have done something right!
A big thank you for being the early adopters, and to all who have followed since!
