Crowdsourcing for ecommerce #EcomChat

June 28, 2013

Afternoon #EcomChat brethren,

Hope you’re all getting ready for a weekend of fun and mischievous shenanigans.

Monday’s chat will turn to a more social topic, that of crowdsourcing. The focus will be on why this is relevant to ecommerce and tips & tricks for how brands can use crowdsourcing to support and enhance their ecommerce strategy.

Outline questions:

  1. Is crowdsourcing an essential part of the ecommerce toolkit for modern ecommerce teams?
  2. How can and should ecommerce managers weave crowdsourcing into their planning?
  3. Who do you think does this particularly well?

We hope you agree it’s a relevant and important topic. For us it’s a really interesting discussion – there are some great examples of crowdsourcing in action and some innovative brands who are making it a core component of their customer engagement and website optimisation processes.

Do spread the word to anyone you think may be interested and please do join in if you’re free at 1pm UK time on Monday, or simply follow the #EcomChat hashtag on Twitter. If you’re wondering “what is this all about?” there is an about page to explain the meaning of life.

Thanks!

Dan & James.
