      Hello,
      I’d like to keep a thread going for examples of smart advanced merchandising strategies that you’ve used or have read case studies for. By smart, i mean data driven to translate user behaviour (transactional and non-transactional) into highly targeted campaigns (on-site, in marketing channels, integrated etc.) that deliver results. Ideally examples where there is personalisation and automation.

      A starter to kick things off:
      Episerver shared a case study with me in 2017 of a targeted email campaign that captured and isolated browsing behaviour over a 40 day period, and data matched to email addresses collected. Customers who bought products were removed to focus on non-buyers. They then sent out an email campaign where all product recommendations were personalised based on the browsing patterns.
