Offline marketing for Ecommerce

There’s a tendency for Ecommerce sites to slip into promoting themselves via digital channels only. Yet, for those who do, TV, radio, print, direct mail, even in some cases door to door, and other offline channels work well.

Today, we’ll be chatting about that: What opportunities are there for ecommerce sites to push themselves forward via offline channels, whether that be paid for directly, or pushed via PR or other connections.

As ever, there are 3 conversation starter questions:

  1. Which offline channels and tactics are available to ecommerce sites? For each, what are their pros and cons?
  2. How do you decide when to test offline channels, which to pick, and how to assess whether they’re working or not?
  3. What are the risks and pitfalls of pushing offline channels for ecommerce?

Join us at 1pm UK time on Monday 3rd December and do share this post either on Twitter or via email with anyone you think would be interested.

Thanks, Dan & James.

p.s. If you’re wondering “what’s this about?” there is a page explaining all just here.
