Organic Acquisition + Retention for Ecommerce
#EcomChat on Monday 17th October will discuss “Organic Acquisition + Retention for Ecommerce”.
This is part 1 of a two-part chat around acquiring and retaining customers. Next week will drill down into paid media channels, so this week we’re looking at the use of organic media, or to be more accurate campaigns where you don’t need to pay a direct media fee. So we’re including organic search, email, organic social and PR. Yes, we know that costs are incurred but not for media placement i.e. for email typically you’re paying for the technology to send the emails, not a media insertion fee (semantics!).
As ever: there will be 3 conversation starter questions and anyone is welcome to join in using the #EcomChat hashtag on Twitter.
Here are the 3 questions:
- How do you prioritise your organic marketing focus for ecommerce?
- What tools and techniques work?
- What are the pitfalls to look out for?
Join us at 1pm UK time on Monday and do share this post either on Twitter or via email with anyone you think would be interested.
Thanks, Dan & James.
p.s. If you’re wondering “what’s this about?” there is a page explaining all just here.
