UAT Testing for Ecommerce Sites

June 29, 2020

#EcomChat on Monday 29th June will discuss and important topic for ecommerce team: how to handle user acceptance testing (UAT).

UAT is integral to any website. Perhaps more commonly associated with major site upgrades or new site migrations, it’s an essential part of any release, no matter how small the perceived change to your site. When something changes, it needs to be properly tested to ensure things work well and there aren’t unintended side-effects.

So for today’s chat we’re going to explore the role of UAT for ecommerce websites.

  1. Who should be involved in the UAT process and why?
  2. What does good UAT look like?
  3. What are common issues and how can you avoid them?

We’re sure we’ll end up covering much more!

Thanks, Dan & James.
