In general it is seen as very important that products should look and feel great, and that ecommerce sites themselves should look & feel slick. But many high performing ecommerce businesses do not focus on this area from an aesthetic point of view as heavily: Ebay, even Amazon, Walmart, Currys, even fast fashion brands like Boohoo, or global retailers such as SHEIN or Wish are seen as not very visually appealing.
